Annual salary range: $44,620 to $124,150 (up or down).

These people install, repair, and maintain elevators, escalators, and other mechanical and motorized lifts.
They possess extensive knowledge of electronics, electricity, and hydraulics.

A four-year apprenticeship program overseen by the National Association of Elevator Contractors is often required, however, an electronics engineering and technology or mechanical engineering program is useful.
